Mr. Voilin
Camille Pissarro
Thanks Amin Piracha for sharing.
Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2007.
The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approx. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried to meet his schedule.
4 minutes later: the violinist received his first dollar: a woman threw the money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk..
6 minutes: A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.
10 minutes: A 3-year old boy stopped but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on quickly.
45 minutes: The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.
1 hour: He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a true story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people’s priorities. The questions raised: in a common place environment at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?
One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made.... How many other things are we missing?

Always remember...
"Don't take for granted the things closest to
your heart. Cling to them as you would your life,
for without them life is meaningless."
Irreplaceable.

Random why.
They lie on their backs, yet when you "tissue-ise" them, they wriggle and flutter their wings as if they still wanna live and breathe.
Why?

FMP: Predator
Situation:
Approximately 24 hours ago, an armed MQ-1 Predator UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) was launched by the US Air Force from an undisclosed location within Afghanistan. The launch was the result of intel that placed a large group of Taliban leaders in a single meeting place. The exact location of the meeting was unable to be determined, but is suspected to be within a small mountainous area where there are known training camps. The Predator UAV mission was to recon the known Taliban camps, and then strike where the meeting was being held. For this specific mission, the Predator was equipped with a newly developed missile guiding system.
Early in the flight, the Predator identified the location of the meeting by capturing images of two Taliban leaders. Before the assault, however, enemy ground forces successfully disabled some of the flight controls with small arms fire, making it impossible to fire the missiles. The Predator was able to fly away from the heavily fortified area, but soon thereafter crashed in a rugged area. While the aircraft is too damaged to fly again, the systems analyzer shows that the missiles are still intact, as is the new missile guiding system.
It is expected that the enemy has sent patrols out to locate and bring back anything of use, including the electronic hardware and ordnance. It is imperative that US forces get there first to retrieve the missile guiding system, which could be disastrous if the technology got into enemy hands. The rest of the wreckage, including the missiles can be destroyed in place with high explosives.
Objective:
A small Special Operations team will insert and patrol to the wreckage. The terrain at the crash site is too rugged to reach by vehicle, and an air approach would alert enemy forces to its location. Therefore the team will insert approximately 5 kilometers from the crash and advance uphill to retrieve the missile guiding system and rig the Predator with high explosives.
If the Special Operations team is unsuccessful at retrieving the package, an A-10 flight is on standby to destroy it. This is a last resort.
Insert:
Move quickly up the rough terrain approximately 5 kilometers. Enemy forces in the area are a foregone conclusion, therefore the team must move tactically and expect to make contact. It is important however to move quickly in order to get to the crash before the enemy.
Actions at the Objective:
Set a security perimeter, locate and remove Missile Guiding System. Set high explosive charges to completely destroy all salvageable hardware. If enemy is encountered, hold them back until detonator is set.
Extraction:
Move approximately 5 kilometers farther up the terrain to a hilltop where helo extraction is possible.
Time Line:
It will literally be a race with the enemy to get to the crash site first. The enemy is familiar with the area, and experienced in navigating the terrain.
From recent satellite images of the area and the last video feed from the Predator, it is expected that the enemy can reasonably reach the site in 45 minutes from the time of your insertion.

When You Believe
I just love the strength and passion in their voices! So much OOOMph and drive that can be used in our lives. In everything that we do, success begins by first believing it can be done, and the rest will follow suit.
Let's change- THE IMPOSSIBLE => POSSIBLE!
Anyway I hope you are doing what you love!
Miracles do happen when you believe in what you do.
Are you doing what you love?
Is that your lifelong passion?
Have a great week ahead! :)

Scream!
[Michael]
Tired of injustice
Tired of the schemes
The lies are disgusting
So what does it mean
Kicking me down
I got to get up
As jacked as it sounds
The whole system sucks
[Janet]
Peek in the shadow
Come into the light
You tell me I'm wrong
Then you better prove you're right
You're sellin' out souls but
I care about mine
I've got to get stronger
And I won't give up the fight
[Michael]
With such confusions don't it make you wanna scream
Your bash abusin' victimize within the scheme
(Janet)
You try to cope with every lie they scrutinize
[Both]
Somebody please have mercy
'Cause I just can't take it
Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream
Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make you just wanna scream
[Michael]
Tired of you tellin' the story your way
It's causin' confusion
You think it's okay
[Janet]
You Keep changin' the rules
While I keep playin' the game
I can't take it much longer
I think I might go insane
[Michael]
With such confusion don't it make you wanna scream
Your bash abusin' victimize within the scheme
(Janet)
You find your pleasure scandalizin' every lie
[Both]
Oh father, please have mercy 'cause I just can't take it
Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop pressurin' me
Make me wanna scream
Stop pressurin' me
Just stop pressurin' me
Stop *?!@#!in' with me
Make me wanna scream
[Janet]
"Oh my God, can't believe what I saw
As I turned on the TV this evening
I was disgusted by all the injustice
All the injustice"
[Michael]
"All the injustice"
[News Man]
"A man has been brutally beaten to death by
Police after being wrongly identified as a robbery suspect.
The man was an 18 year old black male..."
[Michael]
With such collusions don't it make you wanna scream
Your bash abusin' victimize within the scheme

Crazeeeeeeeeeeeeness!
Started from Sunday, July12th...till yesterday. The journey was literally more than 1000km and worth more than the assets of Bill Gates. No, but really - these 2 weeks were PRICELESS!
The roller coaster of events and emotions has been overwhelming that I look back in wonder how all these miracles were created.
I met alot of people I never knew I would have contact with. Respectable people with ranks. The rich and mightly yet humble and generous. And obviously identifying the "fakers" ... some of which double confirmed my hypothesis.
I went to the SAME place MANY times in a week - that never did ever attempt and will never do it again in future. Very, very tiring mentally and physically. I think my total sleep time that week was sub-30 hours. CRAZEEEE!!!
I saw many interesting sights which took me in awe - sunrises, sunsets, beautiful sceneries and most importantly - beautiful people. Not those who "look good" but those who make you feel good so you want to do better next time.
- People that encourage and support you till you get to the podium.
- People that always say "YOU CAN DO IT!" even if you don't know them.
- People that push you to your limits and making sure you break your limits.
- People who stand by you all the way. From beginning till end - despite any shit that comes along.
Not forgetting the crazee things, makan sessions and long hours! All thanks to my partners in crime.
Like what one of them says :-
I KNOW!
